We are proud to announce that Zane Khatib has joined the FUSE investment team as an Associate. We fundamentally believe that VC is an apprenticeship game and have studied the personality traits and characteristics of those who have been successful. Hiring Zane was obvious as he embodies those key characteristics for success - IQ, EQ and relentless hustle.

Zane is originally from Mercer Island and graduated Cum Laude with a Finance degree from Seattle University. Upon graduation, Zane began his career building out the private investment arm at a top local investment manager. He was part of a two-person team that raised and deployed $50M+ through two private investment funds focused on investing in companies based in the PNW. His role included everything from sourcing and due diligence to LP relationships and fund management.

He is already off to a fast start sourcing interesting investment opportunities, conducting diligence, and engaging our portfolio entrepreneurs and LP community in unique ways.
